Empty Bowls is the Food Bank RGV’s largest fundraiser of the year.  Our Empty Bowls event aims to bring the community together to raise awareness and funds to fight hunger in the RGV.

Empty Bowls 2023 returns for its 17th year anniversary as the largest and most popular luncheon of it’s kind in the RGV.

With the purchase of a ticket, guests can choose a hand-painted one of a kind ceramic bowl painted by local artists and volunteers. The ceramic bowl serves as a reminder that there are still many “empty bowls” in the community that need help being filled. At Empty Bowls you will enjoy food from over 35 restaurants, enjoy music, and experience the magic that is the community coming together to help fight hunger.
