About Empty Bowls 2025
Empty Bowls is the Food Bank RGV’s premier fundraising event and a beloved tradition in the Rio Grande Valley. Now in its 18th year, this food-tasting luncheon brings together more than 35 local restaurants, offering guests a chance to enjoy bite-size samples of everything from savory entrées to decadent desserts. Every ticket purchased helps put fresh, nutritious meals on the tables of families across our community.

This year’s event will take place Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg. Alongside the incredible cuisine, guests will enjoy raffles, a silent auction, and the chance to take home a hand-painted bowl — a symbol of the hunger we are working to end together.
